THE ROLE
The ideal person can expect to be involved in a wide range of works, working in both the private and commercial sector.
Our works can include entire strip outs & reinstatement of properties as a result of insurance jobs, damp proofing and decay works, and also fire and floor damaged properties. There may be an element of general property maintenance.
This will include dot and dabbing, skimming, coving, blocking out using lightweight plasters and renders.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The ideal candidate would be someone who is well motivated and very keen to learn new skills with good time keeping, however a candidate with insurance reinstatement or preservation background would be beneficial.
A good understanding of health and safety and site cleanliness is essential.
A company van will be provided, so a full UK driving licence is essential (Ideally no points please).
The role can be physical, so it is important that you are in good health and physically fit.
You must also offer flexibility with regards to working hours, willing to work late at times to meet our customers needs and deadlines.
You may be required to work at height or in confined spaces, so this role would not be suitable for anyone with phobias relating to these situations.
Candidate may be required to make their way to and from sites themselves on occasions.
You must be of smart and clean personal presentation and have a polite and helpful manner.
A clean criminal record is essential due to some of our contracts.
A company van will be provided. Other benefits included private health care!
